Six Gun Savior served as my first time professionally pulling focus. Six Gun Savior is a feature film that had four days of pickup shoots. The shoot included three cameras at times and left me responsible for B Camera as the First Assistant Camera. Throughout the four day shoot I interacted with several different operators and had to adapt to each of their preferences with each switch. The pickups were shot on Canon 7Ds with External Viewfinders, Secondary Monitors and Bartech Remote Follow Focuses. The first day was a learning curve to get used to the fast paced nature of being a 1st Assistant Camera. I put my best foot forward and was able to adjust accordingly.
The latter part of the shoot included Western Style Fight Scenes with a lot of handheld shots with no rehearsals.
